Sales needed a way to consolidate data from Adobe SiteCatalyst and Salesforce in order to manage their B2B accounts more effectively. Creating the web app required deciphering a lengthy Project Requirements document from the Sales Department and working with Data Sciences to create dashboards with meaningful, accurate data. I had already gotten a taste of displaying data with the Daly Valid Report but the depth of the sales data required some research. I experimented with Google Analytics and Tableau and checked out quite a few websites. But I found Information Dashboard Design, by Stephen Few to be the best source for learning the dos and don'ts of displaying data.
